Are you a girl in the lead?

Are you a girl in the lead or would you like to be one?
*       Do you have strong views on the way in which girls and young women should be able to participate at all levels of guiding?
*       Are you an adult member with thoughts and views about girls leading Girlguiding UK?

We are looking for Senior Section girls and adult members to join a series of focus groups across the UK.

Join us for an interactive half-day workshop to let us know your views on what being a girl in the lead means to you and what we should be focusing on at the start of the second century of our organisation.

How do you want to participate in guiding?
*       What opportunities do you want to see made available to you?
*       How do you want to find out about events and opportunities on offer?
*       What skills do you need to be a girl in the lead?
*       What skills do you need as an adult member to help ensure that girls are in the lead?

Girls and young women can join in at a workshop even if unaccompanied by a Leader so it makes a great half-term activity.

Saturday 13 February London 9.45am-12.30pm
Monday 15 February Edinburgh 1.45pm-4.30pm
Monday 15 February Birmingham 1.45pm-4.30pm

Wednesday 17 February Cardiff 1.45pm-4.30pm
Thursday 18 February Manchester 1.45pm-4.30pm
Friday 19 February Exeter 1.45pm-4.30pm
Sunday 28 February Huntingdon 9.45am- 12.30pm

You are free to join sessions in any Country or Region - whichever date and location suits you best.

What if I cant make one of the focus groups?

Sectional packs will be made available online within the members news section of the Girlguiding UK website within the next few weeks so that Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members can take part in the consultation within their own meeting place.
